Supply Chain Manager (Humanitarian)

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager will lead all procurement and logistics activities for Sened’s humanitarian programmes in Aleppo, ensuring that goods and services are sourced, delivered and managed in line with organisational standards and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee procurement of goods and materials required for projects.
• Develop and approve procurement plans in collaboration with project and programme managers.
• Collect competitive quotations, evaluate offers and ensure compliance with donor and internal policies.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Coordinate logistics operations, including transport, warehousing and distribution to field sites.
• Maintain accurate records, monitor budgets and report on supply‑chain performance.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding principles and risk‑mitigation procedures throughout the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain, procurement and logistics management, preferably in humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
• Strong knowledge of donor regulations, contractual obligations and compliance standards.
• Ability to work in challenging environments and coordinate with field teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
