Surveyor – Construction & Land Surveying

About the role

The Surveyor will lead land and construction surveying activities, ensuring that all works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and construction teams to provide accurate site data and support project progress monitoring. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing control points, performing topographic and as‑built surveys, and delivering clear survey documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and set out construction works according to project plans.
• Establish, verify and maintain control points, benchmarks and coordinate systems.
• Perform topographic, boundary and as‑built surveys using Total Station and GPS equipment.
• Validate dimensions, levels, alignments and locations of structures against design specifications.
• Prepare detailed survey reports, calculations, records and handover documentation.
• Coordinate survey activities with engineering and construction teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain surveying instruments, including Total Station and GPS units.
• Support project progress monitoring by providing up‑to‑date survey data.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of surveying experience on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience on airport, building or large‑scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surveying methods, calculations and mapping techniques.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Total Station equipment.
• Proficiency with GPS surveying instruments.
• AutoCAD for drafting and plan review.
• Surveying software for data processing and reporting.
