System Administrator

About the role

Wonder Beauties is looking for a dedicated System Administrator to ensure the stability and performance of a production‑grade, multi‑cloud infrastructure that serves hundreds of thousands of users. You will work on‑site in the Free Zone of Damascus, handling real‑world systems with immediate impact.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain server availability, health, performance and reliability across multiple cloud providers.
• Manage and scale containerised workloads in production environments.
• Administer identity, access and authentication systems such as LDAP and RADIUS.
• Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, DNS, VPN, routing and access controls.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, logging and overall infrastructure visibility.
• Plan and execute backups, failover, replication and resilience strategies.
• Lead incident response from detection through resolution and post‑mortem analysis.
• Automate repetitive tasks through scripting and configuration management.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on production system administration experience.
• Strong Linux knowledge beyond basic commands.
• Solid Docker experience and familiarity with containerised environments.
• Experience working with more than one cloud provider.
• Good networking fundamentals: VPN, DNS, firewalls, subnetting and routing.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting; Python or Ansible a strong plus.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
• Background in identity and access management (LDAP, RADIUS, VPN solutions).
