Technical Support Engineer

About the role

As an After‑Sales Technical Support Engineer for a solar PV company, you will be the frontline expert responsible for resolving complex technical issues in solar products and systems. You will configure, troubleshoot, and optimise solutions to ensure seamless operation for customers while acting as the trusted liaison between clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Reproduce customer‑specific solar PV system environments to diagnose issues and design targeted tests.
• Manage and resolve electronic support tickets, providing timely updates and clear communication.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, Sales and Customer Success teams, translating technical details into actionable insights.
• Troubleshoot and configure both software and hardware components, including inverters, monitoring platforms and networking equipment.
• Document technical issues, root causes and resolutions in the knowledge base.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on technical support experience, preferably in renewable energy or related electrical/networking fields.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with a proven record of empathetic, solution‑focused support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
