Business Development Director

About the role

The Business Development Director will act as the senior investment professional for Bridge Holding Syria, leading the creation and management of a pipeline of investment‑grade opportunities across the MENA region. The role blends hands‑on deal sourcing with strategic oversight of investor relations, partnership development, and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source investment opportunities in private equity, real estate, energy, infrastructure, technology, and finance across priority MENA markets.
• Lead deal sourcing initiatives, including cold outreach, competitive bids, and advisor collaborations.
• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, co‑GPs, family offices, and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Conduct market analysis to shape Bridge Holding’s entry strategy, regulatory assessment, and macro‑economic outlook.
• Develop and execute brand‑building activities, thought leadership, and investor communications to enhance market positioning.
• Coordinate with placement agents and internal governance teams to ensure alignment with investment standards.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in private equity or related investment fields within the MENA region.
• Proven network of institutional investors, family offices, and co‑investment partners.
• Strong understanding of deal evaluation, structuring, and market dynamics.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with corporate governance and sector strategies.
