Business Process Engineering Lead (Telecom) – Damascus

About the role

The Business Process Engineering Lead is responsible for end‑to‑end business process management, focusing on optimisation, re‑engineering, automation and digitisation within a telecom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to capture current operations and pain points.
• Review and approve AS‑IS documentation and define TO‑BE enterprise‑level process architecture using Lean and continuous‑improvement methods.
• Establish BPMN 2.0 modelling standards, quality benchmarks and governance frameworks.
• Design and redesign complex cross‑functional processes in BPMN tools, own gap analysis and drive automation, RPA and intelligent orchestration initiatives.
• Oversee digital workflow implementation, integration with enterprise systems, and post‑implementation review.
• Develop KPIs, SLAs and monitor benefits realization; maintain a reusable library of process assets.
• Mentor and review the work of the Business Process Engineer reporting to this role.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Information Systems.
• 8–10 years of BPM experience, with 3–4 years in a senior/lead capacity.
• Fluent in Arabic (reading, writing, speaking).
• Hands‑on experience across the full BPM lifecycle and at least one professional BPMN 2.0 tool.
• Experience with RPA, workflow automation and intelligent automation concepts.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt minimum); CBPP/CBPL or OCEB 2 certification a plus.
• Knowledge of telecom, fibre or fixed‑network environments is an advantage.
