Case Manager – Gender-Based Violence & Child Protection (North-West Syria)

About the role
Islamic Relief is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to provide protection‑focused case management and psychosocial support to survivors of gender‑based violence and children at risk in North‑West Syria. The role follows a survivor‑centred approach, ensuring confidentiality, non‑discrimination and respect for human rights.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments for survivors and at‑risk children.
- Develop and implement individualized safety and care plans.
- Provide direct psychosocial support through individual and group sessions.
- Coordinate referrals to health, legal, shelter and livelihood services.
- Maintain accurate case files, follow‑up reports and documentation in line with protection standards.
- Collaborate with the centre’s psychosocial supporter to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Supervise and monitor the quality of psychosocial support activities.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in case management, protection or psychosocial support for GBV survivors or vulnerable children.
- Understanding of protection principles, best interests of the child and survivor‑centred approaches.
- Ability to work in a conflict‑affected environment and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
