Commercial Manager

About the role

The Commercial Manager will lead commercial operations for kapitano in Damascus, driving revenue growth and profitability. This full‑time, on‑site position requires strategic planning, contract oversight, and close collaboration with finance, operations, and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Negotiate, draft, and monitor contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Track commercial performance, prepare forecasts and reports, and identify pricing and margin improvement opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, and sales to align commercial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and local regulations while driving continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial management, business planning, and revenue growth.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, develop forecasts, and support decision‑making.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership skills with a focus on development and performance.
• Hands‑on experience in contract negotiation, drafting, and performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external collaboration.
• Solid understanding of commercial finance, budgeting, and pricing models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Damascus Governorate.
