Communication Officer

About the role

The Communication Officer will play a key role in developing a wide range of communications products for DRC Syria. The position supports programme delivery by crafting clear, impactful messaging and ensuring the organisation’s visibility and reputation are enhanced.

Key responsibilities

• Develop communications products that align with DRC’s standards, SOPs, branding guidelines and values.
• Enhance the organisation’s visibility and reputation through consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with programme teams to create content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Design and implement awareness campaigns as required.
• Ensure all communications activities comply with established organisational policies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to produce high‑quality communications materials.
• Strong understanding of branding guidelines and SOP compliance.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in a humanitarian context.
• Capacity to adapt messaging for varied audiences, including IDPs, host communities and donors.
