Country Ops Manager

About the role

The Country Ops Manager will oversee the daily operations and commercial performance of all fashion retail stores across Syria for a leading GCC fashion and lifestyle group. This senior role ensures that sales targets, brand standards and profitability are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations and commercial performance of all fashion retail stores in Syria.
• Drive store KPIs such as revenue, conversion, average transaction value, units per transaction, staff productivity, inventory performance and operating costs.
• Develop and coach Store Managers and frontline retail teams to maximise operational productivity.
• Coordinate with Buying, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, HR and Supply Chain while managing inventory, budgets and profitability.
• Prepare regular performance reports for Group Management.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years progressive experience in women’s fashion, luxury or lifestyle retail.
• At least 5 years in a management role, overseeing multiple stores.
• Proven experience with premium or well‑established women’s fashion brands.
• Excellent English and Arabic communication skills.
• Leadership experience managing a minimum of eight stores.
