Finance Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial and accounting operations for a leading real‑estate development company, covering the full project lifecycle from land acquisition to final sales delivery. This senior position ensures financial integrity, profitability, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning for large‑scale mixed‑use developments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain corporate bookkeeping, revenue recognition, GL closing, bank reconciliations and corporate tax review.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Lead financial reporting, variance and performance analysis, providing recommendations to senior management.
• Develop and enforce robust financial controls, accounting policies and internal procedures.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit findings.
• Oversee project budgeting, cash‑flow management, investor reporting and financing support.
• Manage escrow, treasury, corporate taxation and regulatory compliance for development projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in project finance, financial planning & analysis, and financial modeling.
• Strong background in construction cost control, project accounting and escrow management.
• Proficiency with treasury operations, corporate taxation and IFRS reporting.
• Ability to provide strategic financial insights and support business growth.
