Finance Manager – Syria

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial function of our Syria‑based subsidiary. You will shape financial strategy, oversee budgeting and reporting, and ensure robust risk management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies covering general and cost accounting, budgeting, reporting and cash‑flow management.
• Manage the annual budget and coordinate the strategic planning process.
• Maintain long‑term relationships with banks and financial institutions to meet project financing needs.
• Lead financial aspects of corporate initiatives and promote best practices in financial management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaborate with the board of directors to address financial issues and drive economic improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management or a comparable senior finance role.
• Fluency in English, Turkish and Arabic (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong competence with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
