Full Stack TypeScript Developer

About the role

Talent Syria connects engineers, product people and designers in Syria with remote roles abroad. We are hiring a Full Stack TypeScript Developer for an international company. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from Syria while building and maintaining end‑to‑end web applications in TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Build features across the stack, from the user interface to server‑side APIs and the database.
• Design and build APIs, and connect the front end to them.
• Write clean, tested code that is easy to maintain, and review teammates' code.
• Debug problems and improve performance in both the front end and the back end.
• Take part in technical discussions and architecture decisions, and document what you build.
• Follow good practice for security, scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Solid experience with TypeScript in production, on both the front end and the back end.
• A modern front‑end framework such as React or Next.js, plus good HTML and CSS.
• Node.js with a server framework such as NestJS or Express.
• Designing APIs and working with databases, SQL or NoSQL.
• Git, code review and a team workflow built on pull requests.
• Automated tests, continuous integration and deploying web applications.
• Turning requirements into a clear design and writing it down.
• Working independently and communicating clearly in a remote team, with professional English.
• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
