Healthcare Training Faculty & Programme Specialist

About the role

Aspen Medical is launching a multi‑year healthcare training programme in Syria and is seeking experienced international and regional healthcare professionals, clinical educators and subject‑matter experts. The roles will support the design, delivery and evaluation of a structured capability programme for Syrian healthcare workers, covering clinical care, digital health, multidisciplinary practice, service improvement, workforce development and emergency preparedness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver curriculum modules for core clinical care, public health, digital health and emergency preparedness.
• Provide remote programme management and support, complemented by short‑term deployments to Syria.
• Lead monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance activities for the training programme.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and local health authorities.
• Contribute to competency‑based education, simulation exercises and case‑based learning.

Required profile

• Recognised university qualification relevant to the discipline.
• Post‑graduate or specialist qualifications for senior SME positions.
• Current professional registration for clinical roles where applicable.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (8‑10 years for senior lead positions).
• Proven experience training qualified healthcare professionals.
• Strong English proficiency and ability to work in multicultural settings.
• Willingness to undertake short international deployments, subject to security approval.
