Junior Accountant (Syria)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in Syria. The role involves handling daily financial transactions, assisting with reporting, and ensuring accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Work with ERP/accounting systems to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
• Assist the Senior Accountant/Finance team with additional accounting tasks and reports as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting.
• Hands‑on experience using ERP systems or other accounting software.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
