MEAL Assistant

About the role

SYCAC is a non‑profit civil society organization established in Turkey in 2012, operating across Syria to increase civic space, empower communities, and promote democracy and human rights. The MEAL Assistant will support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems in the assigned governorate. Working under the direct supervision of the MEAL Officer, the assistant will act as the primary point of contact for MEAL activities in the field. The position is full‑time and based onsite in the field.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems in the assigned Syrian governorate.
• Serve as the primary MEAL contact under the supervision of the MEAL Officer.

Required profile

• Reliable and field‑based.
• Willing to work in the assigned governorate(s) in Syria.
