Mobile Application Developer

About the role

The Mobile Application Developer will design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile solutions for the Bonny platform. You will enable field teams, inspectors, engineers and service delivery staff to interact with core workflows through secure, responsive, and user‑friendly mobile interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain mobile features that support field tasks, service order updates, approvals, inspections, attachments, notifications and status tracking.
• Integrate mobile apps with Bonny backend APIs, authentication services and enterprise systems.
• Implement offline and low‑connectivity capabilities, including local data storage, synchronization and recovery handling.
• Ensure secure authentication, session management and role‑based access control.
• Collaborate with backend developers to define and optimise APIs for mobile use.
• Guarantee responsiveness, performance, and compatibility with approved devices and OS versions.
• Support testing, defect resolution, packaging, app signing and release management.
• Work with business users and SMEs to validate usability and field practicality, and assist with production issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile Development or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Experience with Android, iOS or cross‑platform frameworks such as Flutter, React Native or Xamarin.
• Proven track record integrating mobile apps with REST APIs and enterprise back‑ends.
• Familiarity with field‑operations, inspection or service‑management applications is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (Android, iOS, Flutter/React Native) are preferred.
