National Sales Manager – Syria

About the role

Promate Technologies is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead and expand its consumer‑electronics and IT‑peripherals business across Syria. Based in Damascus, the role carries full responsibility for sales performance, distribution development and revenue growth nationwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a national sales strategy, set annual and quarterly targets, and own revenue, margin and growth outcomes.
• Analyse performance by territory, channel and SKU, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Expand the distribution footprint by acquiring and developing new channel partners, distributors and key accounts across all Syrian regions.
• Lead negotiations on pricing, volumes, promotions and commercial terms while protecting gross margin.
• Drive product‑category and SKU penetration through cross‑selling and new‑product launches.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team, define territories, KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing, trends and customer demand to senior management.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, coordinate inventory availability and ensure disciplined collections.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales and distribution experience in the Syrian consumer‑electronics or IT‑peripherals market.
• Proven hands‑on experience with Syrian wholesale, retail, dealer and reseller channels.
• Strong knowledge of both Damascus and major regional markets, with an established network of distributors and key accounts.
• Track record of achieving sales targets, expanding territories and managing pricing, margins and inventory.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and leadership capabilities and willingness to travel regularly throughout Syria.
