Occupational Health Doctor

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Doctor to lead occupational health activities within our organization. The role focuses on safeguarding employee wellbeing through medical examinations, risk assessments, and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical examinations, assessments and screenings for employees to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide medical advice on occupational health issues, workplace hazards, ergonomics and personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with HSE teams to develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures and training programs.
• Perform health risk assessments of workplace environments and recommend mitigation measures for chemical, noise or radiation exposure.
• Respond to medical emergencies, delivering first aid, CPR and other necessary interventions.
• Monitor and analyse health and safety data, including injury and illness reports, to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in incident investigations to determine root causes and suggest corrective actions.

Required profile

• Medical degree with qualification to practice as a Doctor.
• Experience in occupational health or industrial medicine.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk assessment methodologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with HSE teams and provide clear medical guidance.
