Operation Technician

About the role

The Independent Doctors Association is seeking an Operation Technician to support surgical services in its Northern Aleppo facilities. This position works directly with surgeons to ensure operating rooms are ready and equipped for each procedure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality technical support during surgical operations according to the agreed roster.
• Prepare operating rooms before each surgery, ensuring all required instrument sets and materials are available and properly sterilized.
• Coordinate with surgeons and medical staff to verify equipment readiness and address any last‑minute needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating suite throughout the day.

Required profile

• Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment, preferably in an operating‑room setting.
• Ability to follow detailed procedural checklists and adhere to strict hygiene standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff.
• Flexibility to work according to shift schedules and emergency call‑outs.
