Program Coordinator

About the role

The Program Coordinator will support the Program Lead in designing, implementing, monitoring and closing the FURAT III activities in Syria. Working closely with the Berlin‑based team and local partners, the role ensures that all field actions are delivered on time, within budget and in line with Creative’s policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in strategic design and development of essential‑service activities based on beneficiary input.
• Prepare activity approval forms, budgets, risk assessments, agreements and memoranda for review.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, security, operations and M&E to ensure effective activity design.
• Oversee day‑to‑day implementation of assigned activities, aligning with approved work plans and budgets.
• Serve as primary contact for implementing partners, local councils, authorities and NGOs.
• Monitor activity performance, produce reports and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to program documentation, success stories and donor‑facing materials.
• Support ToT trainers in developing training strategies and mentor the new field team.
• Maintain activity trackers, log sheets and statistical tools to monitor indicators.

Required profile

• University degree with at least 5 years of experience in program coordination, curriculum development and activity implementation, preferably in Syria or similar contexts.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Proven experience coordinating multi‑sector activities (government, NGOs, local authorities).
