Program Manager – Education and Protection Program

About the role

The Education and Protection Program Manager will lead the design, implementation and monitoring of education and child protection initiatives for vulnerable communities in Syria. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures that programmes align with the organization’s strategic goals and donor requirements while delivering high‑quality services to beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee education and protection programmes, including planning, budgeting, staffing and timeline management.
• Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary programme teams across Aleppo and Damascus.
• Ensure compliance with donor regulations, organizational policies and safeguarding standards.
• Represent Ataa Humanitarian Relief Association in meetings with donors, partners and local authorities.
• Prepare regular progress reports, impact assessments and financial statements.
• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to resource mobilisation strategies.
• Facilitate cross‑program integration to maximise sustainable impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Professional certification in Project Management is an advantage.
• Proven experience in managing education and protection programmes in humanitarian settings.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning and communication abilities.
