Sales Manager – Gas Power Services, Syria

About the role

Join our team as a Sales Manager – Gas Power Services in Syria and play a key role in driving business growth and strengthening customer relationships across the Syrian market. You will identify new commercial opportunities, develop and execute sales strategies, and promote our Gas Power Services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth and expand GE Vernova’s Gas Power Services presence in the Syrian market.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve commercial targets and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, power plant operators, and relevant stakeholders.
• Promote the Gas Power Services portfolio, including maintenance, repairs, upgrades, spare parts, and long‑term service agreements.
• Identify and manage sales opportunities throughout the full commercial cycle, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, services, operations, product management, or field engineering within the power generation industry.
• Strong experience with gas turbine technologies and associated services such as outages, repairs, field services, parts, and upgrades.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Extensive travel required inside and outside Syria.

Required skills

• Gas turbine technology expertise (including GE heavy‑duty gas turbines).
• Knowledge of outages, repairs, field services, parts, and modernization programs.
• Understanding of power plant operations, maintenance practices, and reliability programs.
