Senior Accountant

About the role

ATS NETWORK is expanding its finance function and seeks a Senior Accountant to own daily accounting operations, keep financial records orderly, and provide clear financial insight to management. This is a full‑cycle accounting position, not just data entry.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily accounting transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable, tracking customer and supplier balances.
• Reconcile cash, bank accounts, and all ledger balances.
• Process invoices, receipts, expenses, transfers, shipping charges and service fees.
• Follow up with internal teams for missing documents and payment confirmations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial summaries for management.
• Support month‑end closing by reviewing balances, expenses, receivables, payables and cash position.
• Help organize the chart of accounts and accounting processes within the ERP system.
• Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for tax, compliance and reporting.
• Identify accounting errors, missing records and opportunities to improve controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, journal entries, reconciliations and month‑end closing.
• Ability to work with discipline, accuracy and consistent follow‑up.
• Good communication skills in Arabic; English reading/writing preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or accounting software such as ERPNext, Odoo, QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets proficiency.
