Senior Project Manager – Airport EPC Programme

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading client delivering a major EPC airport construction programme in Damascus. The Senior Project Manager will oversee the delivery of airport infrastructure works across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning, working closely with the Project Director and the wider leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of airport terminal, airside and airfield construction works.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement and construction activities to ensure effective EPC execution.
• Control project programmes, budgets, resources, contractors, subcontractors and key risks.
• Lead project meetings, reporting and performance reviews, escalating issues as required.
• Support commissioning, testing and hand‑over activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years’ experience in major construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Proven experience delivering projects under EPC contracts, with a focus on airport or aviation infrastructure.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline; professional qualification such as PMP, MRICS or CEng is desirable.
• Willingness and ability to be based on‑site in Damascus, Syria.
