Senior Project Manager – Technical Facilities

About the role

The Senior Project Manager – Technical Facilities will oversee NT’s Owner’s Engineer function, ensuring that contractors and EPC partners deliver civil, mechanical and electrical (CME) works for mission‑critical data‑center sites from acquisition through construction, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery oversight of CME and MEP workstreams across multiple data‑center locations.
• Provide assurance of EPC contractor scope without assuming self‑perform responsibilities.
• Direct CME Site Managers and Project Managers, set priorities and resolve resource conflicts.
• Maintain and monitor the baseline Project Implementation Plan against schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, flagging issues early and recommending corrective actions.
• Review EPC schedules, method statements and payment applications; assess variations and claims.
• Manage the workstream risk register and dependency log, escalating high‑risk items.
• Oversee commissioning from Level 1 to Level 5 (Integrated Systems Test) and verify QA/QC snagging closure.
• Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier III/IV availability requirements and HSE standards.
• Coordinate interfaces with design, IT and facility certification teams to keep handover on track.
• Prepare clear progress, cost and risk reports for the Program Manager and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in construction or technical facility delivery, preferably in data‑center or other mission‑critical, MEP‑intensive projects.
• Proven track record leading a portfolio of parallel CME projects and managing EPC contracts.
• Strong knowledge of the Syrian market, permitting processes and utility connection timelines.
