Social Behavior Change Educator – Aleppo, Syria

About the role

MedGlobal is seeking a Social Behavior Change (SBC) Educator to lead health awareness campaigns in Aleppo, Syria. The role involves direct engagement with households and public venues to promote healthy behaviors and connect beneficiaries with services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing awareness campaigns at the health center and in public facilities such as schools and community gathering places.
• Act as a liaison between beneficiaries and the services available at the primary health center.
• Perform sensitivity assessments and identify cases in need based on predefined criteria, tailoring messages to each situation.
• Manage cases while adhering to privacy protocols and individual consent procedures.
• Make internal and external referrals, and update feedback and referral forms accordingly.

Required profile

• Reports to the Admin Officer.
