Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role you will ensure the quality of web, mobile and API‑based products through robust testing strategies and close collaboration with development and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Selenium, Cypress or Appium.
• Design, execute and maintain automated and manual API tests for RESTful services using Postman, RestAssured or similar.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to create comprehensive test plans, test cases and test data.
• Identify, report and track defects in JIRA or comparable bug‑tracking systems and follow through to resolution.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless testing integration.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on QA experience with a strong focus on automation and API testing.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium or equivalents.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Solid understanding of manual testing, test case creation and bug reporting.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD processes.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge in Java, JavaScript or Python.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
