Estimation and Tendering Manager

About the role

The Estimation and Tendering Manager will lead the end‑to‑end tender process for construction projects, ensuring accurate cost proposals and timely submissions. This role works closely with engineering, project management, finance and external partners to secure competitive bids.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review and submission of tenders, guaranteeing precision and on‑time delivery.
• Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment and subcontractors.
• Identify tender risks, propose mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, finance, suppliers and subcontractors to support successful bids.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to improve bid competitiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement of estimation and tendering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in estimation and tendering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, resource planning and construction contracts.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with estimation software – CCS Candy is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to use AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Functional knowledge of SAP.
