Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Freight Operations Coordinator will manage and coordinate international shipments across air, sea and road freight, ensuring smooth execution from booking to final delivery. This role supports ONS’s logistics network linking Syria, Iraq, the UAE and other markets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate international shipments (air, sea, and road).
• Manage shipments to and from Syria, Iraq, UAE, and other ONS operating countries.
• Track shipment status from booking through to delivery.
• Communicate with customers, agents, carriers and service providers.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents and operational records.
• Provide regular shipment updates and resolve operational issues.
• Support business development and sales activities when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping operations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and international logistics procedures (preferred).
