HDP Program Support Officer

About the role

The HDP Program Support Officer ensures that the Danish Refugee Council’s Humanitarian Mine Action operations receive the equipment, materials, services and logistical support required for safe and timely implementation. The role also contributes to the rapid scale‑up of programmes across Syria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning for the Humanitarian Disarmament and Peacebuilding (HDP) programme.
• Initiate, coordinate, track and follow up on procurement requests in collaboration with the Operations Manager, Head of HDP, Technical Field Managers, field offices and Supply Chain teams.
• Support operational resource planning, stock management and asset monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials to field locations.
• Assist in scaling up programme activities to meet emerging needs.

Required profile

• Ability to coordinate procurement requests with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Experience in managing logistical support for humanitarian programmes.
• Familiarity with stock management and asset monitoring processes.
