Hotel Reservation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hotel Reservation Manager to lead our reservations department and ensure a seamless booking experience for all guests. The role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and revenue optimisation within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily reservation operations, guaranteeing accurate bookings and efficient processing.
• Lead, coach and develop the reservations team to deliver high-quality customer service.
• Maximise room revenue through strategic inventory control and rate management.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales and Revenue teams to optimise occupancy and profitability.
• Monitor reservation trends, produce reports and support forecasting activities.
• Handle VIP reservations, group bookings and guest inquiries with professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel reservations, including supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of property management systems and reservation platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical abilities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera reservation system (or similar PMS).
• Experience using hotel PMS for inventory and rate management.
