Human Resources Officer

About the role

Faster Rent A Car is seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to manage day‑to‑day HR operations in Syria. You will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, attendance management and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including screening, interviews and onboarding.
• Prepare employment contracts and maintain accurate employee records.
• Monitor attendance, leave requests and employee documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
• Support performance evaluations and employee engagement initiatives.
• Maintain HR reports, personnel files and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
• Collaborate with management on HR‑related matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in HR, with strong recruitment and employee‑relations exposure.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Professional handling of confidential information.
• Good English communication skills (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
