Human Resources Specialist

About the role

You will report to the HR Manager and serve as the operational backbone of the HR function. This generalist position supports a fast‑growing business, handling everything from onboarding a new sales team to preparing payroll inputs and maintaining employee records. If you enjoy building processes from the ground up, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment: post vacancies, screen CVs, schedule interviews, and prepare offer letters.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding, including contracts, social‑insurance registration, and exit documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR system (hires, changes, absences, terminations).
• Prepare monthly payroll inputs and liaise with Finance.
• Track attendance and leave in accordance with company policy.
• Draft HR letters, contracts, warnings, and policies in Arabic and English.
• Support disciplinary and grievance processes with proper documentation.
• Answer employee queries on policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Keep HR files audit‑ready and assist with internal and group reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG, distribution, or a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of Syrian Labour Law and social‑insurance procedures.
• Excellent written Arabic and English for formal documentation.
• High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Builder’s mindset – comfortable with ambiguity and creating processes from scratch.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with an HRIS, preferably Workday.
