IP/MPLS Network Designer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IP/MPLS Network Designer to lead the design of core network, Internet Exchange Point and International Gateway solutions for a large‑scale project. The role involves creating scalable, resilient and high‑performance architectures that meet engineering standards and multi‑vendor interoperability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design MPLS backbone solutions including BGP, IS‑IS/OSPF, Segment Routing, MPLS‑TE and L2/L3 VPN services.
• Create high‑level and low‑level design documents (HLD/LLD) for IP/MPLS core network domains.
• Define QoS architecture, traffic classification, marking and queuing models.
• Design EVPN, multicast and service‑chaining architectures on the MPLS backbone.
• Develop Internet Exchange Point (IXP) infrastructure, peering fabric, VLAN segmentation and member port designs.
• Define International Gateway (IGW) architecture, protection mechanisms and security integration.
• Perform routing topology studies, traffic flow analysis and capacity planning.
• Validate multi‑vendor interoperability and support implementation teams during integration and commissioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in IP/MPLS core network design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, IS‑IS, OSPF, Segment Routing, EVPN and QoS architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with IXP and International Gateway design.
