IT Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to staff at our Damascus office. You will be the first point of contact for hardware, software and network issues, ensuring that desktops, printers and core systems remain operational.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support in person, by phone and remotely, troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems.
• Set up, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other office IT equipment.
• Log, track and resolve support tickets within agreed response times, escalating complex cases as needed.
• Manage user accounts, email and access permissions across company systems.
• Support and maintain local network infrastructure, including routers, switches and Wi‑Fi access points.
• Assist with backups, antivirus/security updates and basic IT security practices.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses and support documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements and installations.
• Provide basic training and guidance to staff on IT systems and best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
