Lawyer (Full‑time, On‑site in Damascus)

About the role

Sarkis & Associates is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its on‑site team in Damascus. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in court, and support the firm’s multidisciplinary practice areas.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal proceedings and hearings.
• Prepare, review, and draft legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on Syrian law and related regulations.
• Provide strategic advice on complex advisory and litigation matters.
• Collaborate with various practice groups to ensure compliant, tailored solutions.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in Syrian law and procedural rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); advanced certifications are a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve complex advisory and litigation cases.
• Experience working in a professional, team‑oriented legal environment.
• Excellent analytical, strategic problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail capabilities.
