About the role
Sarkis & Associates is seeking a qualified Lawyer to join its on‑site team in Damascus. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in court, and support the firm’s multidisciplinary practice areas.
Key responsibilities
- Represent clients in legal proceedings and hearings.
- Prepare, review, and draft legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on Syrian law and related regulations.
- Provide strategic advice on complex advisory and litigation matters.
- Collaborate with various practice groups to ensure compliant, tailored solutions.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional integrity and client confidentiality.
Required profile
- Strong expertise in Syrian law and procedural rules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent); advanced certifications are a plus.
- Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve complex advisory and litigation cases.
- Experience working in a professional, team‑oriented legal environment.
- Excellent analytical, strategic problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail capabilities.
