Low Current Engineer

About the role

Solvanta Group is looking for a Low Current Engineer to join its on‑site team in Damascus. You will be responsible for designing, installing and maintaining fire alarm, CCTV, access control, public address, data networks and other ELV systems in line with project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project drawings and specifications and prepare technical documentation.
• Select appropriate equipment and coordinate with project managers, contractors and vendors.
• Conduct site surveys, supervise installation work and ensure proper commissioning.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting and provide technical support during hand‑over and after‑sales phases.
• Maintain compliance with safety codes, regulations and company quality standards.
• Keep accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in low‑current or ELV engineering, preferably on safety, security or building systems projects.
• Ability to read and develop technical drawings, schematics and layouts using CAD or similar tools.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Damascus and travel to project locations as needed.
