Marketing Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing Coordinator will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns that promote SFIC’s brands and products across the Syrian market. Based in Damascus, the role works closely with sales, distribution and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and timely delivery of initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate promotional activities and assist in organizing brand‑activation events, trade shows and other marketing events.
• Support the sales and distribution teams by preparing and updating marketing materials.
• Create, edit and proofread marketing content for internal and customer‑facing communications.
• Track campaign performance, analyse basic market data and report results.
• Maintain project timelines, follow up on deliverables and ensure initiatives are delivered on schedule.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to align marketing efforts with commercial goals.

Required profile

• Strong communication and writing abilities for internal collaboration and customer‑facing materials.
• Experience in sales‑related activities, event planning and project management.
• Relevant experience in marketing coordination, brand management or the food/FMCG sector.
• Ability to analyse basic market data, high attention to detail and familiarity with common office and marketing software tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Damascus and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
