OSP Project Manager

About the role

The OSP Project Manager will lead the delivery of outside‑plant (OSP) projects for a telecommunications client in Damascus Governorate. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate vendors, contractors and internal teams to meet schedule, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end OSP activities, ensuring progress aligns with the project schedule.
• Set monthly targets with the Senior Project Manager and drive teams to achieve them.
• Prepare and maintain management plans, including communication, escalation, implementation timelines and hand‑over procedures.
• Define and verify the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and propose technical solutions.
• Identify gaps, track issues, and implement corrective actions to remove project blockers.
• Chair vendor/contractor meetings and participate in cross‑functional coordination sessions.
• Escalate critical issues promptly and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor, approve, and document change requests following the change‑management process.
• Track project risks, produce regular status reports, and ensure proper hand‑over of deliverables to the client.

Required profile

• University degree in civil engineering or a related field; structural engineering education is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of telecommunications experience, including at least 4 years in OSP management.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil works design, electromechanical installations, and project reporting.
• Formal training in PMI, PRINCE or similar project‑management methodologies is advantageous.
• Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
