Program Head - Telecom

About the role

We are seeking a Program Head to lead our Telecom Project Management Consultancy (PMC) portfolio in Syria. The role provides strategic leadership, ensuring successful delivery of multiple telecom construction projects, client satisfaction and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the PMC strategic plan aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee performance of all projects, monitoring timelines, budgets and resources.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team of construction project managers and engineers.
• Manage financial aspects of the portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards through regular reviews and audits.
• Report progress, risks and portfolio performance to senior leadership.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in telecom or infrastructure.
• Proven leadership and strategic management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
