Project Control Manager

About the role

The Project Control Manager will be based on‑site in Damascus Governorate and will lead the planning, monitoring and control of all project activities. The role ensures delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality while maintaining compliance with client, regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a centralized project controls framework covering scheduling, reporting, cost control, contract management, material/warehouse operations, asset management, HSE, permitting and QA.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to enable seamless execution and timely decision‑making.
• Develop standardized reporting, dashboards, KPIs and analytics to improve project visibility.
• Identify risks, variances and performance gaps, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee scope and budget activities from planning through handover, including contractor scope assignment and invoicing follow‑up.
• Manage the Project Controls Office, system modifications, audits and data integrity.
• Prepare and maintain the Project Implementation Plan, communication plan and change‑management process.
• Lead regular Project Controls meetings and produce performance and compliance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project control or project management within construction or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive process improvement and automation.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple workstreams.
