QC Inspector – CSA

About the role

The QC Inspector (CSA) will lead quality control activities for civil, structural and architectural works on a data‑centre and technical building project. The role ensures that all construction work follows approved IFC drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and relevant standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the project Quality Control Plan for earthworks, concrete, structural steel, masonry, waterproofing, finishes, external works and raised access floor.
• Review IFC drawings, specifications and method statements before and during construction.
• Inspect incoming materials for compliance with submittals, test certificates and material specifications.
• Monitor concrete production, placement and curing; coordinate independent testing of mix designs, slump and compressive strength.
• Witness and document non‑destructive testing (visual and ultrasonic) of structural steel welds.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain complete QC records, test reports, material certificates and photographic evidence.
• Participate in client and external QC audits and support audit‑finding close‑out.
• Prepare daily inspection logs, weekly status reports and verify As‑Built drawings for the CSA scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 8 years of QC inspection experience on major building or infrastructure projects, including at least 3 years on data‑centre or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes and ITP‑based quality management.

Required skills

• Concrete production monitoring and testing (slump, compressive strength).
• Structural steel welding inspection and non‑destructive testing (visual, ultrasonic).
• Material certification review and verification.
• Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) preparation and execution.
• Issuing and managing Non‑Conformance Reports (NCR) and root‑cause analysis.
