Senior Architect

About the role

Invest Group Overseas (IGO) is looking for an experienced Senior Architect to lead the planning, design, and delivery of architectural projects in Damascus, Syria. The role involves guiding projects from concept through construction while ensuring compliance with local codes and high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of architectural projects across all phases.
• Prepare concepts, detailed drawings, specifications, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Review and approve design documentation and construction drawings.
• Conduct site visits and provide technical support during construction.
• Mentor and supervise junior architects and design staff.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations.
• Identify and implement innovative design solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• 5–10 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proven experience leading medium to large‑scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• Fluent communication and presentation skills.
