Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are establishing a new technical back‑office operation in Syria to support regional waterproofing projects. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will lead the cost‑control function, ensuring accurate measurement, budgeting and commercial coordination across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Review bills of quantities, project specifications and contract documents for cost and quantity analysis.
• Produce accurate cost estimates, budgeting and project pricing.
• Analyze BOQs and contract documents for discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support procurement by providing quantity data for material take‑offs.
• Coordinate with engineering, drafting, procurement and project teams to ensure commercial alignment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English (preferred).
• Proven ability to deliver high‑accuracy cost estimates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in PlanSwift.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with quantity surveying software/tools.
