Special Project Finance Officer – COAST Project

About the role

The Special Project Finance Officer will support World Vision Vietnam’s COAST (Climate and Ocean Adaptation and Sustainable Transition) Project. The role ensures sound financial management, accurate planning, monitoring, reporting and compliance with donor, World Vision and Vietnamese regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial plans and cash‑flow forecasts for the COAST Project.
• Monitor project expenditures, verify payment requests, staff claims and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare regular financial reports for donors, internal management and government authorities.
• Support timely reimbursement processes and ensure adherence to donor requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to track milestones and financial performance.

Required profile

• Experience in financial management of development or donor‑funded projects.
• Knowledge of World Vision financial policies and Vietnamese public‑sector regulations.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams in a multicultural environment.
