Steel Structure Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Steel Structure Engineer to join our team in Damascus. This full‑time, on‑site position involves delivering high‑quality steel structure projects from concept through detailed design. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and develop steel structure designs.
• Conduct calculations and prepare engineering solutions.
• Produce detailed drawings using Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure optimal project execution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and engineering principles.
• Strong problem‑solving and calculation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and work within cross‑functional teams.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
