Technical Expert – MAZRA Project Roster (Consultancy)

About the role

Expertise France is seeking qualified technical experts to join a roster supporting the MAZRA project in Syria. This short‑term consultancy will enable rapid deployment of specialised skills as project needs arise and funding permits.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and technical support to the MAZRA project team.
• Participate in field assessments, data collection, and analysis related to peace, stability and resilience initiatives.
• Contribute to the design, implementation and monitoring of project components.
• Collaborate with local partners, government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Deliver reports, recommendations and technical documentation as required.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background and proven experience in the field of international development, security, governance or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
