Senior Consultant - Financial Accounting Advisory

About the role

Second Step is recruiting a Senior Consultant for Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) on behalf of one of its clients in Syria. The position is based in Damascus and focuses on delivering financial accounting advisory work.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver financial accounting advisory engagements.
• Provide expertise in financial reporting, IFRS and finance function transformation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, schedules and client presentations.
• Support projects related to internal controls, compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver effective financial solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of professional experience within a consulting firm.
• Experience in financial controls, reporting and finance transformation.
• Understanding of internal controls, risk management and compliance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
